Additional requirements/one-time requirements
If you receive basic income support, you may be eligible for a monthly supplementary allowance for certain life situations. The following supplementary allowances are available:
- Additional Allowance for Pregnancy: Starting in the 13th calendar week, a monthly additional allowance is granted through and including the month of delivery. Please provide us with proof of your pregnancy in the form of a doctor’s certificate.
No copy of the prenatal record
Please do not send us a copy of the prenatal care record due to data protection regulations.
- Additional Allowance for Single Parents: If you are the sole caregiver for your minor child or children, you will be granted a monthly additional allowance depending on the age and number of children.
- Additional needs in cases of severe disability, if you are simultaneously receiving benefits for participation in working life. The determination of severe disability alone does not trigger additional needs.
- Additional dietary expenses if you are required to follow a costly diet due to a medical condition. To claim these additional expenses, you must complete Form MEB and have it certified by your doctor. A medical certificate is required.
- Additional requirements for hot water production
