Have you obtained a professional qualification abroad?
You can find the authority responsible for the recognition procedure under Recognition in Germany.
The Netzwerk Lippe gGmbH in Detmold is responsible for providing advice on recognition.
Various costs may be incurred during the recognition process, e.g., for translations or certifications.
If you have any questions about financing these costs, please contact your contact person at the Hagen Job Center in good time before, for example, commissioning translations and starting the recognition procedure. We will advise you on whether financial support is possible. The prerequisite for our support is that there is a realistic chance of your professional qualification being recognized in Germany and that employment in this profession is to be expected.
