Recognition Procedure
Did you earn a professional degree abroad?
You can find the agency responsible for the recognition process under “Recognition in Germany.”
Netzwerk Lippe gGmbH in Detmold is responsible for providing advice on recognition.
As part of the recognition process, you may incur various costs—such as for translations or certifications.
If you have questions about financing these costs, please contact your representative at the Hagen Job Center well in advance—for example, before you commission translations or begin the recognition process. We can advise you on whether financial assistance is available. To qualify for our assistance, there must be a realistic chance that your professional qualification will be recognized in Germany and that you can expect to find employment in that profession.
