To help you re-enter the workforce or secure an existing job, the Hagen Job Center can offer advice on continuing education opportunities.

This may involve a career change (retraining), modular continuing education programs, or short courses to enhance your skills, such as a forklift operator’s license or an Excel course.

Through our JobFuture continuing education counseling service, you can learn about all educational opportunities in Hagen and the surrounding area. Our on-site staff will be happy to assist you with any questions regarding your educational goals.

Your contact person will work with you to determine, 

• which educational goal best suits you,
• what content you can expect in the courses,
• whether the legal requirements for cost coverage via an education voucher from the Federal Employment Agency are met,
• whether there is a good job market for your intended educational goal and
• whether they meet the requirements (e.g., medical fitness or a high school diploma, if necessary) for the selected training program.
